Prince Edward Island - Eldon/Orwell

Prince Edward Island - part 1
(sightseeing)

August 11, 2018 - August 13, 2018

We left Nova Scotia after 32 days and headed for Prince Edward Island via the Confederation Bridge which was completed in 1997.  At 8 miles long it's the longest bridge over water, linking New Brunswick with PEI and making travel around the maritimes more easy and convenient.  Our destination was a campground in Eldon, PEI, placing us near the town of Orwell where a restored rural village circa 1890 as been reconstructed.  Unfortunately we never made it to this AAA GEM.  The last two long driving stints had completely wiped us out so we elected to take a mental health day and just relax.
